Here are some not-so-great quality images of the big piece i just finished that will be included in the Little Crowns show opening at Narwhal art projects on Queen street in Toronto. Should be a fun show. Excited to be a part of it. Visit Narwhal here

Been pretty off the radar lately preparing for my solo show at 107 Shaw, but now the show is up. Party time! Here are some images of the pieces included in the show, as well as a few shots of the installation and the mural I did on the alley wall of the gallery. No one has tagged it yet. Bonus! If you didn’t make it out to the opening on the 20th due to mother nature being a total bitch, it will be running until September 12th. Check the 107 Shaw site for gallery hours and such.

Just got back from Austin where we had the opening for the Hot Slump show on Saturday.
Ok Mountain is such a great space, and I was really excited to be showing with some really rad artists. Ryan Bubnis was particularly mind-blowing. I should have some images from the show up shortly, in the meantime I think Jay has some up on his blog here.
Here are some more of the pieces I had up at the show. Man, it sure was hot…..

The dialogue between artists and the viewing public is so very essential in the creative process, and quite often it can result in some uncomfortable, but necessary, conversations.
Recently I was challenged to view things in a different light regarding my own work, so in the spirit of keeping that dialogue alive and kicking, heres a link to Eric Trine’s rad blog. The art scene as a whole shouldn’t be a collective circle jerk, which is why i’m pretty into Eric’s thoughtful, but challenging point of view on this topic. Go take a look here, and form some opinions already! It’s so important that people in this digital age be accountable for what they say, and Eric seems to have the goods to back his shit up. Very respectable indeed.
I will be painting a mural with Jay Howell and Ferris Plock during SXSW. Its a ‘live’ mural painting event, so come by and say hello if you are checking out bands during the week or whatever….313 E 2nd Street, Austin.
